Celebrate Our Survivors

Celebrate Our Survivors

My family has personally been affected by Breast Cancer. In 2013, my husband's Mother, Phyllis, was diagnosed with stage one Breast Cancer. I remember how distraught and worried he was over his Mother's health. One night we all went to my in-law's house to support her as she shaved her hair in preparation for chemo treatments. All four of her sons, including my husband decided to shave their heads too, in solidarity. Once they were all shaved, Phyllis cried and buried her head in my husband's chest. This is one of the strongest women I know, so to see her be so vulnerable and assumingly fearful about her future, made me break down too. I'm happy to say that chemo was successful and she is now Cancer free!

In honor of our survivors and women who are currently in the battle with Breast Cancer, we will donate 10% of our October sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization that helps and inspires hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services. Also, we are having a Pink Sale! All pink items are 30% Off, all month long, and as usual, that comes with FREE shipping on all orders! Thank you for your support, and know that you are not alone in the fight against this dangerous disease.

It is so important as women that we take steps to get our mammograms and to be in tune with our bodies so that we are able to identify when something isn't quite right. Do it for yourself, and for your loved ones. Do you know someone who is a survivor of Breast Cancer? We want to share their story! Email us at info@elvamae.com and we will post it. You never know how your story will inspire and encourage others.

Love,

Deanna
