I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “Elva Mae is taking over my closet!” And for good reason! They’re curating quality items and have their fabulously manicured finger on the pulse of fashion today. And fashion today is Fall fashion!
I’ll admit, Fall is my favorite season, the weather (hot as Hell still here in the ATL), the color palettes, (what is it about mustard I love so much?), the layering and I’m partial to a good party (I turn 31 this November).
Here are my three favorite Fall fashion trends that Elva Mae is representing:
It’s a jungle out there.. Animal prints have taken over Fall fashion. From white snake skin boots to tiger stripes, this is a trend that gets you seen. My favorite pieces in Elva Mae’s collection include the Boa Tied Top, the Monty Python Bodysuit (only $36!) and the sexy Slytherin dress. When you’re on the prowl pair any of these with a leather jacket for an edgy look or sweeten it with a cozy knit.
Slytherin Dress $54
Preppy Party Crasher! Early on the morning of October 1, 2019 a woman crashed the final day of Paris Fashion Week when she scampered up on stage in her black and white houndstooth. She blended in so well security actually had a difficult time finding her. Later she’s revealed as a famous comedian known as Marie S’Infiltre. I couldn’t help falling for her ballsy attitude and that suit! With new shows like The Politician and old shows like Gossip Girl a fresh suit set makes everyone look like a boss babe. My favorite from Elva Mae is the mustard colored Maxine Short Set, it rocks both a preppy and old school vibe which I dig. Paired with stockings this look will easily transition into winter.

Leather or not, here it comes! Predictions have been made that leather will be a Fall trend you should invest in. Ready to push your style to the edgy next level? You need Elva Mae’s Skull Moto jacket in your life! The studs! The sugar skull! The looks you’ll get on the street. I’ve received SO many compliments on this jacket, my ego and I are riding high. My next favorite is technically not leather, but it’s sleek, black sheen makes you look twice. The Breakin’ Jumpsuit has a low back and front slit. I can’t wait to pair this jumpsuit with Elva’s off-the-shoulder Mocha Sweater and some python boots.
